While Disney movies are known to being joyous, they also have bit of sadness. I think any good story has both joy and sadness in them. If you think about your favorite movie, does it leave you feeling emotionless? Mine doesn't. I feel hundreds of emotions, joy, fear, anger, sadness, humor, and I could go on. There's so much more to Disney beyond just a cheerful moment. There's the sadness of family members dying, the anger of the evil step-mother getting her way, and then there's the happily ever after. But without all these emotions filling the space and time of the movie, would the movie be as good?
Tammy: So as to not entirely spoil the movie I won't give away the EXACT saddest moment for me, but in "Inside Out" there is a moment that brought me to tears. "Inside Out" is one of those movies that has you constantly feeling different emotions because this is what the whole premise of the movie is. Now this sad moment doesn't remain sad forever, and that's the same way with life. No matter what you're going through even the saddest moments will end and a happily ever after is soon on the way. Angela: The saddest moment for me is from "Tangled". It is towards the end, Flynn is in deep trouble and could use her magic to heal, but he also knows that her hair is a blessing and a curse. So in one moment both of their lives change so drastically, I will not spoil it, but from the sad they are able to survive and continue and get the happily ever after that she has always wanted and been waiting for. What do you think is the saddest Disney moment? Disclaimer: We are in no way affiliated with the Disney company.
